A former Northern regional chairman of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Chief Bugri Naabu, has advised Ghanaians never to vote for John Mahama and the NDC, according to him, John Mahama has nothing to offer Ghanaians.
He noted that the former President will only come to destroy the progress and strides made by the incumbent Nana Addo and Bawumia Administration.
In response to a promise made by the NDC flagbearer, John Dramani Mahama, pertaining water crisis faced by indigenes of Damongo, Bugri Naabu noted that the promise was deceptive. “If indeed he had wanted to solve the challenge, he could have done it during his tenure. What prevented him from finding solutions when he was the President, he asked. Once the former President Mahama is voted again into power, Dumsor will return, free SHS policy will be scrapped likewise the scrapping of nursing and teaching allowances”. he said.
Meanwhile, the former Northern regional Chairman of the NPP further urged all Muslims to rally behind the NPP flagbearer, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia to become the next President.
He noted that NPP is the only party to have recognized the Komkombas in their government by giving them appointments.
“John Mahama never recognized we the komkombas in his government. However, the narrative is different with the NPPs. Kufuor did his best and President Akufo-Addo is equally doing same. Dr. Bawumia treats the zongo best than anybody. Let’s all rally behind him”, he urged.
