Former communications Director for NPP, Lawyer Yaw Adomako Baafi has emphatically stated that but for the timely intervention of NPP government, many factories would have collapsed.
He explained that the introduction of government’s Flagship program, ‘One District One Factory’ prevented the collapsing of these factories which were suffering during the tenure of the erstwhile NDC administration.
“If not for NPP some factories would have been collapsed by NDC including Kasapreko. When the government intervened through the one district one factory project and pumped money, Kasapreko have diversify their products and improved upon their manufacturing. Darko farms equally collapsed too, but the NPP government later invested into it, and it’s been revamped”, he told Kwaku Dawuro on Movement In the Morning show on Movement TV/ Wontumi Radio.
“Livestock production from Darko Farms has been increased by 4.6 in the Ashanti Region”, he said.
He was quick to add that no government have been able to build universities more than NPP.
