Kidi Grabs Nomination At NAACP Awards

For the umpteenth time, Kidi has proved in Ghanaian speak, “Kasa ye mframa” as he continues to “Show working”.

Congratulations to a hardworking talent who continues to impress Ghanaians and the entire African audience with his music.

It can officially be confirmed that Kidi has bagged for himself a nomination at the upcoming 2022 edition of the NAACP Image Awards.

The nominations were announced on NAACP’s Instagram channel on Tuesday, January 18.

Kidi’s nomination is in the Outstanding International Song category which features the likes of Wizkid, Fireboy DML, Tiwa Savage and Omah Lay.

Quite the tough one indeed.

Thriving off his album called Golden Boy, Kidi has crossed over properly with his global smash hit Touch It.

H.E.R. is the top nominee in the music categories at the 2022 NAACP Image Awards, with six nods.

Chlöe, Drake, Silk Sonic and Jazmine Sullivan are runners-up with four nods each.

Black-ish star Anthony Anderson is set to host, though there will not be an in-person audience.

The awards will be from 1:00 am – 3:00 am on Sunday, 27th February 2022.
