NPP Parliamentary candidate- elect for the Krowor constituency, Ing. Laryea disagrees with the popular mantra, ‘fear delegates’.
According to him, once you get to know your delegates and they equally get to know you, then there’s no cause for alarm.
“It all depends on your relationship with them. You should foster a good relationship with them and not wait until you are contesting for the election before you get closer to them. Once you do that, they are definitely going to disappoint you…”, he said on Movement TV.
Although he agrees that human beings are sometimes not to be trusted and could be deceiving.
“However, I total disagree with the mantra ‘fear delegates’. I think the best should be ‘ know your delegates’.
He was quick to advise that candidates should desist from promising heaven on earth whenever they are contesting for elections. This, he believes is not the best to do. Because, once the candidate in unable to fulfil those promises, then it becomes a challenge for these delegates to trust candidates.
