Two betPawa Premier League heavyweights, Asante Kotoko and Aduana FC, have been paired in a MTN FA Cup Round 16 fixture scheduled between February 24 and 28.
Unlike nine-time champions, Kotoko, Dormaa-Ahenkro-based Aduana FC have not tasted FA Cup glory yet and may see this season as the opportune time to exorcise that ghost.
Aduana FC has been in devastating form this season, topping the league table with 31 points from 16 matches.
Similarly, defending league champions Kotoko are still in the reckoning for a title defence, making their MTN FA Cup clash a potential thriller.
The last time the two teams met in the league at the Nana Agyemang Badu Park, they battled to a goalless stalemate.
In other matches, Real Tamale United will play another Premier League side, FC Samartex 1996; elite league debutantes, Nsoatreman FC will face Debibi United, while King Faisal vie with Steadfast FC.
In the Southern Zone, Dreams FC clash with Liberty Professionals, Legon Cities will lock horns with Volta Rangers, Heart of Lions engage Skyy FC, while Ebusua Dwarfs and Kotoku Royals slug it out in Cape Coast.
