It would be better for Mr. John Mahama to shut up and stop advising the government of President Akufo-Addo to run to IMF to save Ghana’s economy, Mr. Thomas Kusi Boafo has advised.
According to Mr. Boafo, there is absolutely nothing good Mr. Mahama can pinpoint to and boast about to Ghanaians to convince us that running to IMF helped his government.
He therefore branded the 2020 flabgearer for the National Democratic Congress (NDC), an “unofficial” flagbearer who should remain mute and stop talking on behalf of his party.
“You (John Mahama) are an unofficial flagbearer for the NDC but you are telling government to go to IMF. You know very well that when you went there, it didn’t bring anything better to Ghana”, Mr. Boafo said.
He applauded President Akufo-Addo for ingnoring the NDC’s call for his government to run to IMF when there was an alternative route like E-levy
“The route Akufo-Addo’s government took is a bitter pill to swallow but we have to do it now than massage the situation which if left unattended to, would be haunting our generations to come”, Thomas Kusi Boafo said.
