Asante Kotoko’s head coach, Dr. Prosper Narteh Ogum, has praised striker Kwame Opoku’s goal-scoring abilities, calling it “fantastic.”
Opoku continued his impressive form by scoring in the Porcupine Warriors’ dominant 4-1 victory over debutants Vision FC at Baba Yara Stadium on Sunday.
Since his return to Kotoko, Opoku has found the back of the net five times, showcasing his consistent form.
In his post-match press conference, Dr. Ogum shared his excitement over Opoku’s performance, saying, “If you look at his goal-scoring abilities, fantastic. Look at the goals he scored today—brilliant goals, top marksman goals… and I’m so happy for him.”
“I am very, very happy for him. He should keep his head up, and I know the sky will be the limit for him,” he added.
This win has lifted Asante Kotoko to third place with 31 points. They will face relegation-threatened Karela United in their next Matchday 18 clash at Baba Yara Stadium.
