The Member of Parliament for Asante Akim-North, Lawyer Andy Appiah Kobi has urged Ghanaians to assist the government bring back the economy to normalcy.
He explained that this has become necessary because the ravaging effect of the global crisis which the government of Ghana cannot be blamed for because every country across the world is feeling a brunt of the consequences.
Speaking on Movement In The Morning Show on Movement TV and Wontumi Radio, he said that the chronic condition we are facing as a country is not peculiar to us only, everyone is facing same including the economic giants such as America. The world economies are in shambles but what is needed now is that we should understand and accept that we are in this together and by so doing, we will all proffers solution to help salvage the situation”.
He expressed optimism that the country’s economy will definitely bounce back to normalcy.
“I know for sure that although we are not in normal times as a country, but I have hope that something extraordinary will push our economy back to its normal state and even beyond. I know what the government led by President Akufo-Addo is capable of doing”, he added.
