A member of the communications team member of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Kwabena Marfo, has said that nine out of ten Ghanaians will choose NPP over NDC.
He noted that the NPP government has always stabilized the economy of the country and also improved upon the livelihood of the citizenry whenever it’s in power- adding that it’s a fact that Ghanaians could attest to.
“The two political parties to have ruled Ghana since 1992 are NPP and NDC. We could conduct a little survey by finding out from Ghanaians which of these parties have they benefited from, and seven or nine out of ten people will definitely tell you it’s the NPP government that has stabilized the economy”, he said.
He explained that this is the reason for which the party must break-the-8-year jinx. “let’s all work hard to ensure that it doesn’t become a fiction but reality”.
Kwabena Marfo however, advised government to be prudent in the spendings of the fund it is expecting to receive from the International Monetary Fund (IMF).
He’s therefore urging that once government receives the IMF bailout it must ensure that it lives to the latter the checks and balance to be given.
