A Parliamentary candidate on the ticket of New Patriotic Party (NPP) in Kade, Asomaning Patrick Darkwa, has told supporters of the various Presidential aspirants, to threat cautiously.
He advised that the upcoming Presidential primaries, is an internal election and thus they don’t need to attack each other and sell their arsenals to the opposition.
“As a party, we need to be very careful of the kind of attacks and utterances we make against each other…if we don’t take care, the things we say against each other will be used against us by the NDC in the 2024 general elections”, he told Kwaku Dawuro on Movement In The Morning show on Movement TV/ Wontumi Radio.
He asked that “in an unlikely event that Dr. Bawumia doesn’t win, do you think it will be easy for whoever that wins to go to Bawumia to sort his idea and thought on things regarding our economy…how do we get united to campaign for the party after we have said all sort of things against each other after the internal elections, so we can break-the-eight?”.
He told them to put the party’s interest at heart and not their individual interests.
“We will suffer if we say all sort of things against the party…breaking-the-eight is possible…the signal has connected to the sixteen regions..”, he added.
