From time to time, our leader, Dr. Bawumia, will make policy announcements during the campaign. These innovative ideas may be unfamiliar to some people, and they make jokes about them.
We in the NPP have a leader who is putting forward-looking policies to change the lives of Ghana’s youth.
For the digital age, smartphones are very important. The major policy announcement is that when Dr. Bawumia is elected president, smartphones will be exempted from import duties. This will help reduce the cost of phones. Additionally, network providers who can buy these phones in bulk will provide them to customers, with the cost incorporated into the tariffs they pay or on a credit basis.
No import duties on mobile phones
Network providers will provide the phones to customers, to be paid through tariffs or on a credit basis.
Work with network providers to make internet data more affordable (cheaper than the current prices).
These policies are far better than what we have heard from the NDC.
They can joke and make funny comments all day, but the truth is, where are their communication policies?
H.E. John Mahama, tell us some of your communication policies.
