Liverpool Legend Urges Club To Sign Mohammed Kudus

Former Liverpool midfielder Danny Murphy has urged the club to consider making a move for Ghanaian midfielder Mohammed Kudus in the upcoming summer transfer window.

Murphy’s suggestion comes on the heels of Liverpool’s emphatic 5-1 victory over Tottenham Hotspur—a result that sealed the 2024/25 Premier League title with four games to spare.

Speaking to the BBC, Murphy identified Kudus as a potential replacement for Darwin Núñez, Federico Chiesa, and Diogo Jota—three players who are widely expected to leave Anfield this offseason.

“Kudus is robust, skilful, and can play as a No.10 or on either wing. He is super strong and has great pace,” Murphy said.

Despite a somewhat underwhelming season in the Premier League, the 24-year-old West Ham United midfielder remains in demand. He has attracted interest from top European clubs as well as teams in the Saudi Pro League.

Kudus recently netted his first league goal of 2025 during West Ham’s 3-2 defeat to Brighton.

So far this season, he has contributed four goals and three assists across 31 appearances in all competitions for the Hammers.
