Deputy director of the New Patriotic Party communication , George Krobea Asante, says former President John Dramani Mahama has no respect for Ghanaians.
Speaking in an interview with Kwaku Dawuro, on Movement In The Morning, on Movement TV/Wontumi radio, Krobea Asante called out the former President for desperately seeking to return to presidency, compelling him to make unfavorable and selfish promises to Ghanaians. According to him John Mahama after enjoying ex-gratia for decades, as part of his promises says he will terminate that law.
”Dawuro, it’s about time John Dramani Mahama shows respect to Ghanaians, because he has zero respect for Ghanaians. We were in this country when he said if he resumes office he is going to eliminate Article 71 which talks about ex-gratia. Now after making such statement, individuals in his own political party like Afrifra, Martin Pegu and Solomon Nkansah came to ridicule it because the person who has enjoyed ex-gratia most in Ghana is John Mahama.
Despite all this, when he had the chance to come into power after the demise of our Father Atta Mills, he had every opportunity to review that article but didn’t. Rather, he created another political party to increase his monuments,” He said.
