Spokesperson for Dr. Bawumia’s campaign team, Dennis Miracle Aboagye, has expressed the readiness of Dar. Bawumia to engage in a Presidential debate.
According to him, the flagbearer for the NDC, John Dramani Mahama is avoiding the debate because he lacks ideas and alternatives.
Speaking with Daasebre on Movement In The Morning show on Movement TV, he stated that Dr. Bawumia is currently in the Upper East region, busily campaigning and selling his ideas.
Regarding the debate, Dennis Aboagye emphasized that debates are about presenting solid points and arguments. “John Mahama is avoiding the debate because he lacks plans, points, alternatives, and ideas”, he said.
Dennis invited the NDC party to participate in the debate whenever they are ready, stating that the NPP is always prepared. He also clarified that the ‘170 questions’ referred to 170 points raised by Bawumia for John Mahama to address.
“Dr. Bawumia began his campaign in Upper West yesterday and will continue today, eventually moving on to Accra and the rest of the country after meeting with key stakeholders”, he added.
