Aspiring NPP parliamentary candidate and youth spokesperson for Alan campaign, Alfred Adenta Kumi, has described former President John Dramani Mahama as someone who lacks credibility and competency to take up the mantle of a president.
Speaking in an interview with Kwaku Dawuro, on March 7, 2023, on Movement In The Morning, on Movement TV/Wontumi radio, Adenta Kumi backlashed former President Mahama mimicking President Akuffo Addo and Vice President Bawumia by referring to that act below the belt and unfit for someone who has once occupied the highest seat in the country as a President before.
He emphatically stated ”Yesterday i engaged a senior consultant to get his objective view on Former President Mahama wanting to return to office, and he asked if we’ve seen him go for any training which i said no. He said as consultants, one thing they do is make you go for training if you fail a task, so you try your hands on it again afterwards. But we’ve not heard or seen Mahama go to Harvard for any training but wants to come back to office so what new thing will he bring.
He caused several thoughts to pop up in my mind because i listened to some comments from a whole President like silly, and mimicked some people. I was shocked when i heard and got to know it was said by someone who has occupied the highest and apex position in the country as a president, so i retracted my harsh words because i can never insult a president. We have to look out for someone who has character, credibility and Competence, but when we call former President incompetent he doesn’t understand because the things he’s doing does not merit.”
