A journalist, Kwaku Dawuro, has stated that ex-President John Dramani Mahama neglected the tomb of the late President John Evans Atta Mills to rot.
Ex-President John Mahama was the vice President to the late President John Evans Atta Mills who was the President of Ghana under the National Democratic Congress (NDC) party from 2009 to 2012. Unfortunately, President Atta Mills died after allegedly battling with throat cancer at age 68. He was then succeeded by John Dramani Mahama on 24th July, 2022.
Ghanaians were surprised about the shocking demise of President John Evans Atta Mills, but the big question remained unanswered; who and who killed John Evans Atta Mills?
President Atta Mills was buried at Asomdwe Park – a park that was established in memory of the late President. However John Mahama neglected his boss’ park while in office.
Kwaku Dawuro who is the host of Movement In The Morning Show speaking on the issue said, ”John Mahama left the park to deteriorate after staying in government for 4years and six months. He neglected his own boss’ tomb- that how inhumane John Mahama is. Why did he decide to neglect the park?’’.
He added that after Koku Anyidoho, the former deputy General Secretary of the NDC created the Atta Mills Institute the party now claim they have established the Atta Mills heritage 10 years on.
‘’The Nana Addo led administration took responsibility and intervened and have now created a befitting park for the late John Atta Mills’’, Dawuro added.
Kwaku Anyidoho has expressed gratitude to the President for taking charge of the Asomdwe Park.
