Founder of Friends of Bawumia(FOB), Rev Opoku Acheampong, has advised the former President of Ghana John Dramani Mahama, to consider venturing into comedy since he could not handle presidency.
Speaking in an interview with Kwaku Dawuro, on Movement In The Morning, on Movement TV/Wontumi radio, Rev Acheampong following former President Mahama’s speech of him mimicking President Akuffo Addo, advised him to consider being a comedian as his next profession since the Presidency was a heavy load he did not have the capacity to handle.
He noted that ”The first thing that came to mind after listening to it was that, the former President has realised he is capable of being a comedian because the work load given to him by Ghanaians could not be fulfilled, and since he couldn’t do it, he has to venture into a different business. So he has prepared himself which is evident in his mimicked speech he gave, and will be a next available option should his president ambition fail him.
So it is very obvious our fellow comedians have gained an elderly colleague with whom they will be working with, because for a whole former President to stand outside to tease and mimic your fellow brother for everyone to laugh, it shows. It is not an insult but to do this for everyone to burst into laughter means his campaign will be full of comedy, and will ease up the work of NPP.”
