A communicator of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Ishmael Adams, has cautioned Ghanaians against former President Mahama’s call for the review of the free SHS policy.
Speaking to Kwaku Dawuro on Movement In The Morning Show, Mr. Adams said John Mahama has a personal interest in the call for the review.
Speaking he said that “Mahama promised the progressively free education but could not fulfil his entire promise. When President Akufo-Addo said he will implement the free SHS policy, John Mahama said it will take the NPP 20 years to do so. Government has built new dormitories to accommodate students and expand the free SHS policy. John Mahama is calling for a review of the free SHS policy. I tell you if Ghanaians mistakenly give John Mahama the nod to assume power, he will cancel the policy”
Addressing delegates at the 8th Biennial Delegate Conference of the Ghana National Association of Private School (GNAPS) in Koforidua, former President John Mahama stated that the free senior high school has come to stay and further called on government to consider reviving its implementation.
