The Bono Regional Chairman for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Kwame Baffoe Abronye who is popularly known as Abronye, has said Mahama’s green book contained ghost project.
The green book was designed by the National Democratic Congress (NDC) to provide pictorial evidence of projects they implemented while in office. The content of the book according to Abronye contained non- exciting projects.
‘’Mahama spent huge sum of money for a book that contained ghost projects- even with the sanitary pad project, funds were given to his wife Lordina Mahama who was the supposed project lead, yet the project was never implemented. His unprecedented green book project only appeared on paper. When we talk about projects that have been done by President Akufo-Addo, we can all point to it’’, he said.
Concluding, he advised the party to ensure they do not repeat the mistake they made which led the party to opposition. Stating what led to the lost, Abronye attributed it to the party’s inability to publicize their projects and internal rivalry.
