West Ham United forward, Mohammed Kudus is set to return to action following a five-game suspension.
The Ghana international received a red card on October 19 after slapping and pushing two opposing players during the Hammers’ 4-1 Premier League loss to Tottenham.
Initially handed a three-match ban, the punishment was later extended to five games, along with a £60,000 fine imposed by the English FA.
During Kudus’ absence, West Ham struggled, managing only one victory in five matches — a hard-fought win against Newcastle United.
The team also faced defeats to Manchester United, Everton, Arsenal, and Nottingham Forest during this period.
Kudus’ return comes ahead of an important clash with Leicester City, providing a much-needed boost for manager Julen Lopetegui, who is under pressure to improve results during a hectic December schedule.
Before his suspension, Kudus had scored twice in eight appearances this season, and his comeback is expected to strengthen West Ham’s attacking options.
