In a show of support for gender diversity in governance, traders at the Dome Market in Accra have passionately appealed to Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia, the flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), to select Mrs. Akosua Frema Osei-Opare as his running mate in the upcoming presidential elections.
The traders, who spoke to the media, highlighted Mrs. Osei-Opare’s impressive leadership qualities, experience, and dedication to public service, making her an ideal candidate to partner with Dr. Bawumia and secure the presidency for the NPP.
“We believe Mrs. Osei-Opare’s selection as running mate will be a game-changer for our party and the country,” said Madam Adwoa Frimpong, a trader at the market.
