NDC Has No Moral Right To Talk About Corruption- Yaw Adomako Baafi (VIDEO)

A former deputy communications officer for NPP, Lawyer Yaw Adomako Baafi, has opined that the NDC has no moral right to talk about corruption.

He asserts that the NDC is more corrupt than the NPP and thus, they have never shown any commitment to fight the canker, unlike the NPP that has introduced more policies and initiative that are geared towards fighting corruption.

“People living in glasshouse don’t throw stones. Sammy Gyamfi’s splash lounge collapsed due to corruption and inefficiency. NPP has demonstrated that we have the power to fight corruption. When we were in opposition in 1996, there were critics who accused and described as thieves. However, we proved them wrong in 2001”, he said.

He told Kwaku Dawuro in an interview on Movement In The Morning show on Movement TV, that a lot of the NDC officials have been jailed for various corrupt offenses. He stated that although the NDC keep claiming the NPP is corrupt, yet they haven’t been able to prosecute any NPP official for any corrupt offense. However, most NDC officials have been jailed.

“NPP is always ready to provide evidence when we accuse the NDC of corruption. If for nothing at all. some NCA officials have been jailed. Venture capital was sentenced to pay a sum of 18.5 million and also their properties confiscated. Even before digitalization, NPP had laid several foundations to fight corruption. Our records are3 the best”, he emphasized.

In conclusion he mentioned that the erstwhile Mahama’s administration had a total sum of 7 billion for expenditure, However, the amount on record was 39 million.
