NDC Is A Party That Condones Violence- Daniel Agyenim-Boateng

A former Ashanti regional organizer, Daniel Agyenim Boateng has stated that the National Democratic Congress (NDC) is a political party that supports violence.

In buttressing his point he noted that if the party was a peaceful party that rebukes violence, former President Mahama wouldn’t have held a party for the Suame Youth organizer who was arrested for his inciteful comments.

“The party was even organized at the former President’s house- that tells he condones violence. Because if not that he would have rebuked the guy. But the truth of the matter is that when you assume leadership role to a certain level your thinking ability changes”, he said on Movement in the morning show with Kwaku Dawuro.

He noted that he was glad the Ghana Police Service invited both parties for a meeting, which was held at the behest of the Inspector General of Police(IGP).

However, he thinks the IGP should have invited the NDC only because they are the cause of the electoral violence in Ghana.

“The IGP should have invited Mahama only and advised him to be careful of certain utterances he’s been making. He should let him know that he hasn’t been elected as the Presidential candidate for the NDC and thus he ought to tone down a bit”, he stressed.

He concluded by saying, nothing can push him and his descendant to join the party NDC.
