NDC Is Ghana’s Biggest Crisis Aside From COVID-19- Solomon Assante

A member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Solomon Assante has said that aside from COVID-19, another crisis Ghana has got to deal with is the NDC.

He said that the country’s economy is the number one priority of the NPP, to ensure that the good name of Ghana will be lifted higher. However, the NDC thinks differently.

He further told Kwaku Dawuro on Movement in the morning show on Movement TV/ Wontumi Radio, that the only good statement the former President Mahama has ever made was when he advised his party members to work together to build the country’s economy devoid of nepotism and partisanship.

“To be sincere this is the only good statement I have ever heard from the former President since he became a leader which I really applauded him. The fact that I’m a member of the NPP doesn’t mean I shouldn’t support the opposition when they say something good”, he added.

He cited the resistance by the opposition when the E-levy tax was introduced as an example. Adding that it was because they knew it will help develop the country which will be credited to the ruling party and will affect their fortunes of winning the elections. Hence, the reason they did all they could to ensure it was abolished.

“Aside from COVID-19 and Russia-Ukraine war, the NDC is our biggest crisis in this country”, he concluded.
