The Volta regional organizer for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Korsi Bodja has said that the opposition NDC is just desperate for power, hence every good opportunity they get, the party uses to throw the dust into the eyes of Ghanaians.
Adding that the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has nothing new to offer Ghanaians in the 2020 general elections.
Speaking on movement in the morning on Movement TV/Wontumi Radio, he told Kwaku Dawuro that “When government said the effect of COVID-19 is having a toll on our economy, the NDC said government was telling lies. When we said Russia-Ukraine war had affected our economy they said we were lying. But these are exactly what the IMF yesterday about the effect of all these things on the emerging economy. Are we not an emerging economy?”
Adding that “so as for the NDC, they are just desperate for power, and you can never pin them on any promises. Because they wouldn’t promise you on anything, for you to pin them on it later. All they will keep on saying is that we the NPP’s cannot help the country, adding all sort of things to tarnish our image. But when they get the power, they are definitely going to abuse it.
He urged Ghanaians to ignore what he describes as dirty propaganda tactics of the NDC.
