Chairman of NPP UK branch, Kingsley Adumatta Agyapong, has blamed the National Democratic Congress for the hardship and current state of the economy.
Speaking on Movement In The Morning, Mr Agyapong stressed on how the NDC mismanaged the economy during their rule. According to him their mismanagement deteriorated the economy, which has lead to the current hardship in the country.
He said ”Where we have gotten to, i want to tell Ghanaians that stories we hear about foreign countries are real, and very dangerous for their families and friends there. Some people would even consider suicide as an option because they can’t afford rent and those who go in for mortgage are at the verge of loosing their homes, that is the reason the response they use to give when they’re called upon from home is not the same anymore.
Adding that ”One thing that makes him sympathise with the ordinary Ghanaian is the fact that there are no jobs here, so for someone to hawk all day without any positive result at the end of the day will be a big deal. There’s only one truth of the matter, which is the need to not speak against Ghanaians or upset them but rather plead with them, give them the due respect, and beseech them not to listen to the NDC members who have completely deteriorated Ghana’s economy.
Had it not been for them, Ghana would not be in this terrible position. After all that, what marvels me is their courage. The Likes of Sammy Gyamfi for instance, can tell lies on radio just to confuse Ghanaians.”
He therefore urged Ghanaians not to blame or condemn the ruling New Patriotic Party, as they are always on the move to better Ghana’s economic state.
