NDC Is Unfit To Talk When It Comes To Corruption- Kwabena Frimpong

Deputy Director protocol of the New Patriotic Party, Kwabena Frimpong, says the National Democratic Congress has no right to talk about corruption matters.

Speaking in an interview with Kwaku Dawuro, on Movement In The Morning, on Movement TV/Wontumi radio, Mr Frimpong insistently said that corruption cases were high during the NDC’s term of office, denying them the privilege to speak about it in the time of the current government led by President Akuffo Addo.

According to him ”In fact if there is any one or any political party to talk about corruption, NDC is in no capacity to do so because it was not too long ago that John Mahama claimed to have invested a huge amount in guinea fowl farming. which was later alleged they had all flown to Burkina Faso. Again, they claimed to have constructed the circle Dubai interchange with $240million, and compare it to one of the best west African interchange which is the huge Pokuase interchange constructed by the Nana Addo led government and the NPP which cost $94million .

If you take a thorough look at the things that happened during their tenure like the price of some schools and projects they claimed to have undertaken with outrageous sums of money, you begin to question yourself. There are Corrupt practices which that took place under the NDC to the extent of sending Abuga Pele to prison as a result. The fact that in our country since the colonial time we began voting, through till Nkrumah’s era, to Acheampong and the rest till today, corruption has always been the base and you’ll be dethroned once you’re unable to redeem yourself when you’re tagged with it.”
