An aspiring Nasara coordinator for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Awal Mohammed, has said that the National Democratic Congress (NDC) will present former President John Mahama as their 2024 flagbearer because he has the financial ability to pay delegates.
He made this submission during an interview on Movement TV on Thursday 21st April, 2022.
“NDC members are aware that Ghanaians will not vote for John Mahama, they know very well that the NPP will win the elections, but they will still present him at their flagbearer because he has the money to pay delegates”, he said.
Awal Mohammed added that the NPP should figure out how President Mahama was able to amass six million vote in the 2020 elections so it does not repeat itself in 2024.
He adviced his party to go back to their plan of adopting polling stations in the various constituencies in 2016, to accelerate their chances of winning the 2024 elections.
“Hammer on the works of the NPP government”, Awal trumpeted.
