The Ashanti regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Bernard Antwi-Boasiako, has discredited the validity of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) manifesto by describing it as a direct copy of what the manifesto team of Dr. Bawumia has produced.
Speaking on the Wontumi Morning Show, Bernard Antwi-Boasiako aka Chairman Wontumi referred to the NDC manifesto as ‘Apɔ’ manifesto to wit a carbon copy of the NPPs’.
“Mahama’s manifesto is apo manifesto”, Chairman Wontumi said.
According to him, the former President and current flagbearer of the NDC promised Ghanaians that he won’t make any promise to us with regards to the 2024 elections, but couldn’t hold unto his own promise.
“He told us that he won’t make any promises to us in Tamale and then all of a sudden when Bawumia came out with his manifesto, he (Mahama) has started promising. As soon as he came with his manifesto I knew Bawumia has won”, he said.
