NDC’s Are Used To Violence: They Don’t Believe In Democracy-Maurice Ampaw

Private legal practitioner, Lawyer Maurice Ampaw, has branded the National Democratic Congress (NDC) as a violent political party who do not believe in the rule of law.

Speaking on former President John Mahama’s  comment on the judiciary, Lawyer Ampaw disclosed his disappointment in John Mahama who was once the Commander-In-Chief of the Ghana Armed Forces.

Speaking to Kwaku Dawuro on Movement In The Morning Show, Lawyer Ampaw said that ‘’NDC’s have never trusted the Judiciary from day one because they always send bad cases to court. There is no Chief justice whom they have not attacked in the country- from Rawlings’ era till today, they have resorted to violence. Anin Yeboah’s administration is the most transparent to the extent that everyone gets involve. Mahama sole aim is to destroy the legacy of the Chief Justice’’.

‘’Their lawyers are not learned because they are more about politics than practicing law, and they end up resorting to violence when they loose the case, and comeback with propaganda. I am disappointed in President Mahama- I realized he has not upgraded himself. To pass such a comment as a former President is a big blow to our democracy’’, he added.

He concluded that NDC’s lack of preparation when going to court is the reason for their rampant failure.
