No Casualties Recorded From Wednesday’s Downpour- NADMO.

The Communications Director of the National Disaster Management Organization has disclosed that so far no casualties were recorded from Wednesday June 15, 2022’s downpour.

This comes on the back of a heavy rainfall which was accompanied by thunderstorms in the Southern part of the country- of which as usual many communities within the country’s capital were heavily flooded, leaving many residents stranded.

Speaking on Wednesday’s rains to Kwaku Dawuro on  Movement In The Morning Political Show, Mr. Ayisi said, “although many parts of Accra and Capecoast were flooded, no casualties were recorded”.

This follows an earlier communique which was released by  NADMO indicating that reports from the Ghana Meteorological Agency notes that there will be more rains and as such, persons living in low lying areas should ensure they relocate whenever there’s any sign of downpour to prevent casualties.

He further urged Ghanaians to ensure that all precautionary measures including the turning off of all electrical gadgets when it’s raining is adhered to.
