Government’s spokesperson on Infrastructure, Grace Akosua Animah has stated that the Akufo-Addo government has embarked on a massive infrastructure program than any government in the 4th republic, since it’s assumed office.
Animah noted that having realized the disproportionate allocation of infrastructure in the country, the Akufo-Addo government has, in its term in office, pursued an agenda to ensure the even spread of amenities to accelerate growth at both the local and national levels.
“With our core policy to leave no district or constituency behind, we have steadily ensured that every constituency or district benefits from some basic infrastructure project. There’s nothing the NDC could provide. They had the opportunity to rule this country and what were they able to do? They should be telling us what they will do when they get the chance and not about criticizing Akufo-Addo”, she told Kwaku Dawuro on Wontumi Radio/Movement TV.
Adding that “in any case, which government could compare its infrastructure to President Akufo-Addo’s government- in terms of roads, hospitals, schools among others”.
She urged Ghanaians to have confidence in the NPP and continue to support President Akufo- Addo in order for them to break the eight and continue the massive infrastructure agenda they’ve began.
