Communications team member of the New Patriotic Party, Ellen Amma Daaku, has stated that no presidential candidate has scored 500,000 votes like President Nana Akufo-Addo did in his re-election bid.
According to Amma Daaku, Akufo-Addo’s massive votes in 2020 were due to his free education policy, which was appreciated by Ghanaian parents.
She also noted that no National Democratic Congress (NDC) candidate has won with 54% of the votes since 2000.
Amma Daaku praised Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia’s kindness and humility, saying his followers have been won over by his good character.
She advised Ghanaians, especially NPP supporters, to put aside any hatred for their leaders and vote massively for Dr. Bawumia and the NPP.
