Deputy Ashanti regional organiser for the New Patriotic Party, Atta Sarpong, has stated that as relevant as anyone is in the party, no one can claim that without them, there will be no election.
Speaking in an interview with Kwaku Dawuro, on Movement In The Morning show, on Movement TV/Wontumi radio, Atta Sarpong vigorously claimed that NPP will keep moving forward with or without anyone. He said that what the party needs are business minded and transformational leaders.
” With the things happening in the party right now, it should serve as a lesson to both you and I. Dawuro you need to know where to belong for drastic action to be taken. You can’t say you want to be a business man solely that has nothing to do with Presidency, and later claim you want to be a President, because you’ve paid money and used all your earnings to help.
When did King Faisal ever play for Alhaji Gruso to say he is going to play for number 9 just because he bought the jersey before?. So my belief tells me what the party needs are business people, thinkers, policy formulators, foot soldiers and a bit of everything to help us bring power at the end of the day”, he noted.
