Morning show host for Movement In The Morning show on Movement TV, Kwaku Dawuro has chided former President, John Dramani Mahama over certain utterance prior to the NPP’s Presidential race.
Former President Mahama had categorically stated that there’s no way NPP would elect Dr. Bawumia as their flagbearer because he’s a Muslim. “They will use you and dump you”, he’s on record to have said this. However, the narrative was different, as delegates gave the Vice President a resounding victory last Saturday.
“Former President Mahama is on record to have said that the NPP also uses Northerners and dump them, and thus, there’s no way they will allow a Northerner to lead the party…However, per votes that were casted last Saturday, Dr. Bawumia emerged victorious in 14 out of 16 regions…He was voted for massively even by the Akan…this is an indication that whatever former President Mahama said were lies…Dr. Bawumia is loved by every member of the party regardless of his tribe…”, he explained.
He dared John Dramani Mahama to also select a running mate from the Volta region, since he claims the party belongs t0 the Voltarians.
“I dare you to select a running mate from the Volta region…These are people who always vote massively for the NDC…If you really want to appreciate them, then I dare you to select a running mate from the Volta region…Voltarians should wise up”, he advised.
