A former Director of communications for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Lawyer Yaw Adomako Baafi, has disclosed that the party has a lot instore for women.
He explained that NPP is the only party to champion the causes of women in the country and it’s very evident in the kind of policies and plans of the party.
“The kind of things we have done for women in this country as a party is just outstanding”, he told Kwaku Dawuro on Movement In The Morning show on Movement TV/ Wontumi Radio.
“NPP has women at heart than any party and it is for this reason that we were the first party to establish the women ministry. and also appoint a woman for the fisheries Ministry. NPP is the party to appoint a first female Chief of staff, female Chief Justices, right from Georgina wood, Sophia Akufo and currently Getrude Torkornoo. This should tell you that NPP never discriminates women.
He’s then urging women, to help NPP break-the-eight-year jinx to continue doing more for women.
