Member of Parliament for Achiase in the Eastern region,Honorable Kofi Ahenkorah Marfo, has made a bold statement that the New Patriotic Party (NPP) is the most influential political party in Africa.
In an exclusive interview with Kwaku Dawuro on Movement TV and Wontumi Radio, Chairman Marfo, as he is affectionately called, emphasized that the NPP’s tradition of excellence, its policies, and programs, as well as its governance track record, set it apart as a shining example for other political parties on the continent.
Chairman Marfo, who also serves as Deputy Minister of Trade and Industry, noted that since its inception in 1992, the NPP has consistently demonstrated resilience and unity, even in the face of electoral defeats.
He pointed out that the party’s ability to bounce back stronger and united after losses is a testament to its strength and dedication to the Ghanaian people.
“Former President John Dramani Mahama’s demeanor and recent statements suggest that he has accepted defeat in this year’s elections, and that the NPP’s focus should be on making history by breaking the eight-year cyclical rule of the NPP and NDC”, he observed.
Chairman Marfo urged the NPP to drive this year’s campaign with a sense of purpose and unity, emphasizing that hard work, determination, and unity are essential to achieving this historic feat. He reminded party members that whenever they bury their differences and work together, victory becomes theirs.
