NPP Is The Only Party To Boast of Unprecedented Development in Zongo Communities- Alhaji Fofana

Government Spokesperson on Social Services, Alhaji Yusif Fofana, has touted the New Patriotic Party (NPP) government’s achievements in developing Zongo communities, surpassing previous governments since 1992.

In an interview with Kwaku Dawuro on Movement TV/Wontumi Radio’s morning show, Alhaji Fofana highlighted the NPP’s flagship projects in Zongo communities, initiated by Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the party’s presidential candidate.

“The NPP government has constructed numerous mosques, clinics, bridges, Arabic schools, and water projects in Zongo communities, significantly improving the quality of life for residents. Notably, Dr. Bawumia sponsored 40 Zongo youth to study medicine in Tuba, comprising 20 females and 20 males,” he stated.

Additionally, he noted that the government has built over 156 AstroTurf facilities, mostly in Muslim communities, recognizing the talent of Zongo youth in football. This initiative has earned Dr. Bawumia the affectionate nickname “Tear Rubber President” in the Northern region.

Alhaji Fofana emphasized that the NPP’s efforts have brought joy and excitement to Zongo communities, surpassing the achievements of previous governments. He challenged the NDC to unveil their development record in Zongo communities, asserting that the NPP’s accomplishments cannot be matched.
