A presidential staffer at the office of the President, Alexander Leonel Martey, has reacted to some assertions levelled against the Government by the communications Director of the NDC, Sammy Gyamfi who said the government has plunged the country into economic hardship due to it’s mismanagement.
According to Mr. Martey, these claims by Sammy Gyamfi can never be true as Government has been working assiduously to ease the burden on the economy caused largely by external factors.
Speaking to Kwaku Dawuro on Movement In The Morning Show on Wontumi Radio/Movement TV, the Presidential staffer stated that “how does a government that has mismanaged the economy still make available salaries for workers without any outstanding arrears; Ghanaians don’t have to wake up abruptly at dawn due to power cut like it used to be; whiles others are queuing to buy fuel in some countries, Ghana is an exception. Look at what the pandemic and global crisis has caused the country and the world at large but the government has been working assiduously to restore the country’s economy to it’s normalcy”.
He urged Ghanaians never to consider former President Mahama and the NDC as an option for the presidency slot.
“Never ever make such a mistake because you will definitely regret”, he concluded.
