The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Public Sector Reforms, Kusi Boafo, has noted that the NPP government needs ample time to complete the projects and good works it has started.
According to him, although there are a few people calling for a change of government because they think government hasn’t lived up to expectation. However, he’s of the view that if there’s a change of government, it will be difficult for the new government to continue with the laid foundation.
“Government has on several grounds admitted that things are not all rosy as some Ghanaians have expect. However, it will be better off to have the NPP government in power than to change government…Look at some great policies and social interventions like free SHS which has brought so much relieve to Ghanaians. Imagine the cancellation of such a policy and the kind of toll it will have on parents. This is the reason we all need to jealously guard Akufo-Addo’s government to remain in power- just so the government could continue with what it had started”, he said.
He was however of the view that regardless of what the government will do, if Ghanaians do not have a positive mindset, it will amount to nothing.
