The New Patriotic Party (NPP) is confident of securing victory in the Kumbungu Constituency in this year’s general elections.
Speaking on Movement TV/Wontumi Radio’s “Movement in the Morning” show, Northern Regional Communications Director, Yussif Danjumah attributed this optimism to the selfless efforts of Kumbungu’s Member of Parliament, Hon. Hamza Adam.
Danjumah emphasized that despite never winning the Kumbungu Constituency seat previously, the NPP is now well-positioned to emerge victorious. He cited significant development projects undertaken in the constituency, notably electrical infrastructure enhancements benefiting local communities.
Furthermore, Danjumah highlighted the NPP’s achievements in the Tolon Constituency, praising Hon. Assif Iddrisu’s efforts. These accomplishments include the establishment of senior high schools, construction of astro turfs and improved road networks.
Danjumah also criticized Haruna Iddrisu, describing him as “the worst MP we can find in Ghana.” He expressed confidence in the NPP’s electoral prospects, predicting victory in both Kumbungu and Tolon constituencies.
