NPP Stands by Bawumia’s Anti-Corruption Record- Kwabena Frimpong

Deputy Director of Protocol for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Kwabena Frimpong, has vehemently defended Vice-Presidential candidate Alhaji Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia against corruption allegations.

In an interview with Kwaku Dawuro on Movement TV/Wontumi Radio’s morning show, Frimpong emphasized that Dr. Bawumia’s integrity remains unblemished, citing his unwavering stance against corruption.

“For the first time, corruption has not been a major issue in this year’s election, and that’s because Dr. Bawumia’s reputation speaks for itself,” Frimpong stated.

He also accused Speaker of Parliament Alban Bagbin of orchestrating propaganda, asserting that everyone recognizes Bagbin’s expertise in spreading misinformation.

Frimpong further advocated for transparency in education funding, urging Minister Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum to provide detailed financial reports to parents.

“To promote accountability, the Ministry should send SMS updates with a link for parents to view expenditures per student, using their child’s index number,” Frimpong suggested.

Frimpong’s statements underscore the NPP’s commitment to good governance and transparency, positioning Dr. Bawumia as a champion of anti-corruption efforts.
