Parliamentary candidate hopeful for New Juaben North constituency, Philip Twum Yeboah has emphatically stated that the party will vigorously campaign for whoever wins the flagbearership position.
He noted that although each and every member of the party has got their own preferred candidate they are campaigning for. However, if the result turns out to be otherwise, they will be left with no other option but campaign for the winner.
“The common goal is to be able to win the 2024 general elections and thus we shouldn’t be fighting each other”, he spoke on Movement TV with Kwaku Dawuro.
“The NPP is a party that knows what they are about…. We believe in personal growth and thus the reason for the numerous developmental projects…Let’s unite and work today to achieve our goal…Whoever that emerges winner during their primaries, we will solidly support and campaign for that person to break-the-eight for us”, he said.
He was however quick to urge other aspirants aside from his candidate, Kennedy Agyapong, not to insult or throw shade at the latter because when that is done, he will definitely respond which wouldn’t help the party.
