NPP Will Jealously Protect Ghana’s Constitutional Rule- Adams Sabo On Bryan Acheampong’s Comment

The Greater Accra regional director of communications, for the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Adams Sabo, has said that the party has Ghana’s development and peace at heart, hence will jealously protect the constitutional rule.

He said that per the history of the NPP, the party has never ousted any sitting President and has never proposed violence as an alternative of government. This tells how peaceful and law-abiding the party is.

This comes on the back of comments made by Agric Minister, Bryan Acheampong after a health walk on Saturday at kwahu, whiles speaking to members of the NPP “It will never happen that we the NPP will stand on a platform to hand over power to the NDC. It will never happen! We will make sure NPP remain in government at all costs”.

The regional director of communications jumping to the defense of the minister who doubles as Abetifi lawmaker, Adams Sabo said that about ninety-nine per cent of the country’s electoral reforms were proposed by the NPP just so to ensure that Ghanaian electorates get what they deserve.

“We are all Ghanaians, and we will jealously protect the constitutional rule we’ve been blessed with as a country”, he said.

“In any case, who are those dragging their feet with regards to the registration of Ghana card- It’s the NDC. Meanwhile, these measures are all about the sovereignty of Ghanaians, to jealously protect the territorial boundaries and electoral fortunes of the country, to make sure we don’t get any infiltration to manipulee the decision that Ghanaians will make as to who should govern them. But they are saying otherwise, making it look as though we intend to disenfranchise Ghanaians”, he explained.

He pleaded with sympathizers of the NDC to sit former President Mahama and other executives of the party down and let them know that certain utterance they’ve been making off late has the tendency to disrupt the peace and harmony we are enjoying as a country.

“They have made inciteful comments more than thrice and look at how they are behaving after just a single harmless statement from Bryan Acheampong. One could have imagined what would have happened if we had responded in equally measure”, he stressed.

He was quick to add that the NPP wouldn’t descend such low to that level because they have the development of the party at heart. Hence, whatever the party does is to ensure that the Ghana strives.
