NPP Will Secure A Decisive Parliamentary Majority- Justin Kodua Frimpong

The General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Justin Kodua Frimpong, has confidently asserted that the National Democratic Congress (NDC) acknowledges the NPP’s impending parliamentary majority.

Speaking on Movement TV and Wontumi Radio’s morning show with Kwaku Dawuro, Mr. Frimpong highlighted the NPP’s rigorous parliamentary primary elections and strategic planning.

He emphasized the party’s determination to secure a majority of seats, citing their active and well-scheduled campaigns.

He also criticized Speaker of Parliament Alban Bagbin’s recent remarks, stating that Bagbin “did not think far” before claiming the Supreme Court lacks authority over parliamentary matters.

This development comes amidst intense competition between the NPP and NDC. Previously, the NDC gained parliamentary seats in the 2020 elections, narrowing the NPP’s majority.

However, Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia has expressed confidence in the NPP’s ability to secure a “decisive parliamentary majority”
