The New Patriotic Party (NPP) Parliamentary candidate for Anyaa-Sowutuom, Elder Tobbin, has expressed optimism that his party will secure not less than 75% of the total votes cast in both the Parliamentary and Presidential elections in the constituency.
Speaking exclusively to Kwaku Dawuro on Movement In The Morning show on Movement TV, Elder Tobbin emphasized that his motivation for seeking public office is to improve the livelihoods of his constituents, not personal enrichment.
He highlighted his track record of self-funded projects, including the construction of a two-unit classroom block at Odorgonno Model School, undertaken voluntarily without any political ambition at the time.
“I have always been humble and empathetic towards my community, having lived among them for years,” Elder Tobbin said.
“My desire to become an MP is driven by a genuine desire to serve and make a positive impact, not personal gain.”
Elder Tobbin’s confidence in his party’s chances stems from his deep understanding of the constituency’s needs and his commitment to addressing them. His campaign promises to build on his existing community development initiatives, ensuring a brighter future for the people of Anyaa-Sowutuom.
