New Patriotic Party (NPP) Bono Regional Chairman, Kwame Baffoe Abronye, has made a startling comparison between former President John Mahama’s mindset and that of Osama Bin Laden.
Abronye alleges that Mahama’s campaign strategy has taken a dangerous turn, as Ghanaians are not responding to his message.
He claims Mahama’s threat to enter the 2024 election with his own “referee” and disregard for the Electoral Commission’s rules is alarming.
“If somebody says that, it means he has the same mindset as Osama Bin Laden,” Abronye said, urging Mahama to respect Ghana’s constitution and the EC’s supervisory role.
Mahama’s comments have sparked controversy, with Abronye interpreting them as an attempt to destabilize the upcoming election.
The NPP chairman advised Mahama to focus on selling his vision to Ghanaians, rather than resorting to unconventional tactics.
