Nsoatreman FC Head Coach Yaw Preko Confident of Improved Performance in Second Half of 2024/25 Ghana Premier League
Nsoatreman FC head coach, Yaw Preko, is confident in his team’s ability to improve their performance in the second half of the ongoing 2024/25 Ghana Premier League campaign.
Currently, the Twumasikrom-based club sits in 15th place on the league table, with 15 points from 16 matches. They have managed three wins, six draws, and seven losses so far this season.
Despite the team’s struggles, Preko remains optimistic. He revealed that the club has made new signings to strengthen the squad and address their shortcomings.
“We just have to change things and get it right in the second half of the season,” Preko said in an interview with Asempa FM’s Ultimate Sports Show.
“We haven’t lost at home, but too many draws are holding us back. We’ve brought in new players to beef up the squad, and I’m confident we’ll improve.”
The team recently suffered a setback in the FA Cup, where they were eliminated in the Round of 32 after a 1-0 loss to Young Apostles at the Nana Kronmansah Park.
Nsoatreman FC will now shift their focus to the league as they aim to bounce back when they face Karela United on Sunday in a Matchday 17 clash.
