O.B. Amoah’s Withdrawal From The Race Won’t Disrupt Saturday’s Polls In Akuapim South- Chairman Jeff Konadu Clarifies (VIDEO)

The Eastern regional chairman of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Jeff Konadu has noted that despite the withdrawal of incumbent MP for Akwapim South, O.B. Amoah from the parliamentary race, the election will come off on Saturday as scheduled.

He said until there’s an order from the National Executive Council, nothing will disrupt Saturday’s polls in Akuapim South.

This comes after some sections of the party folks are calling for fresh running of the contest, since many were denied the opportunity to contest because the current MP was also contesting. However, since he’s out of the race now, there’s the need to run the contest on a clean sheet.

He spoke to Kwaku Dawuro on Movement In The Morning show on Movement TV.
