New Patriotic Party UK Chairman, Kingsley Adumattah Agyapong (Wofa K), has warned NPP MEMBERS and SYMPATHISERS especially the aspiring CANDIDATES and their supporters, to desist from insults and negative campaigning, in the upcoming presidential and parliamentary primaries towards the 2024 elections.
Especially on quote: “OBAA DAB3N!” mantra that, if care is not taken, it will become an endemic to drive people away from the Party in the foreseeable future. I think it’s not healthy for us,” he asserted on Omega TV.
Furthermore Mr Adumatta emphasised on the negative impact ”obaa daben” has on the party, as he advised for it to be exterminated from campaigns.
” There’s a statement ”Obaa daben”, I think its not healthy for us. I came into NPP UK in 2011 although I was a polling agent in 1992. When I came, there were elders in the party who had tirelessly worked for the party to get it where we are today. I became the second vice Chairman of NPP UK in 2018, and my hardwork is what I walked with all round the country telling the people how I will offer my service to them in a bid to solicit votes for myself.
Even here in the United Kingdom ”obaa daben” took place as well because I did not join early alright but my hardwork, sleepless nights, being on radio stations, going to programmes sometimes internationally, going to the chapters, funerals, helping the people, everything I can do in the interest of the party. I rose beyond that limit and I am the living evidence of ”obaa daben” in NPP UK, so ”obaa daben” should be taken out of campaign trail because that is not what people are going to be voting off,” he stated.
